The Best Medicine is Love

Love is Best Medicine Quote

There’s a well-known saying that a doctor once claimed the best medicine for humans is love. When someone asked, “But what if it doesn’t work?” the physician, smiling, responded, “Just increase the dose.”

Though I’m not sure where this quote originated, I couldn’t agree more. Love truly is the most powerful form of healing, a kind of medicine that many of us don’t fully embrace until we learn how to use it. And that’s what I aim to do—help people reconnect with love, not just for others, but also for themselves, and to use it as a transformative force in their lives.

I guide people in learning how to make love their strategy—for everything. Whether it’s parenting, co-parenting, navigating marriage, improving health, approaching food and exercise, handling career changes, resolving conflicts, decluttering, facing regrets or mistakes, and even personal growth, love is at the heart of it all.

My guiding principle, the cornerstone of my coaching, is simple yet profound: “What would love do?”

This is the question I now ask in every challenging or uncertain moment. Love, in its truest form, would choose to lead with compassion and care. It would harness its power as a transformative force, learning to infuse love into every corner of life.

Mastering this approach is the best investment anyone can make. However, it’s far from easy. For me, it took years of unlearning ingrained patterns and retraining my mind to slow down, be present, and notice where love was missing in my actions. Only then could I begin to change.

I didn’t make this journey alone. With the support and guidance of my own coaches, I was able to move forward more quickly. Even now, I continue to learn, to observe, and to practice—because this journey of love is lifelong.
